Sorry, no pets on the premises. No smoking at the Inn and at the Pine Cottage. Outdoor smoking (with an ashtray, please) at the Carriage House and the Boat House Loft. Ground floor smoking only for Boat House second floor guests.

Our accommodations are available on a housekeeping basis and maid service is not provided. Cottage guests bring their own linen for weekly reservations. Please ask about linen rental.

We observe 'quiet hours' between 9 p.m. and 9 a.m. to allow everyone to enjoy the peace, privacy, and tranquility of the Island. Our accommodations have maximum occupancy, including children and the ‘little ones’ and are available for the private, exclusive enjoyment of our registered guests. To avoid disappointment, please do not invite others to join you here unless you have made arrangements with us in advance. We will tell you about our rates for additional parking, day use and overnight stays, as available. 

Well-behaved children are welcome, accompanied by an adult while on the premises.

We cannot accommodate picnics on the grounds and outdoor cooking. Grilling and picnicking are available at Acadia’s Seawall Picnic Area, two miles away or in Pretty Marsh, about seven miles away.

Please bring your cell phone to receive incoming calls and your laptop for free wifi in your room or cottage. Our guest phone, located in the hallway of our Country Inn, is available for free local calls.

                                 Making Your Reservation

Please call us directly at (207) 244-3460 between 8:00 a.m. and 8:00 p.m. Eastern Standard Time (US). Please indicate the dates of your stay and the number of persons in your party, including children and the 'little ones'.

Rates are based on the specific accommodations that you choose, the dates and length of your stay and the number of guests in your party, including children and the "little ones", plus prevailing Maine State Lodging Tax rate. Minimum stays may be in effect, and one-day reservations are available 'by chance'. Rates are subject to change without notice.

Your deposit is your first two nights to one-half of your lodging total including tax and an additional deposit is requested for multiple reservations. Advance deposits are accepted by personal check or money order and are refundable, minus a $25 per day per accommodation service charge, if we are able to re-rent for the length of your original stay. Last minute reservations are accepted by MasterCard or Visa and are not refundable. To avoid forfeiting your deposit, please consider trip insurance, available on-line, to protect your trip from the unexpected. Refunds are not available for late arrivals, early departures or one night reservations.
